1. This album contains some of Arsenio’s finest songs, with the participation of his cousin Rene Scull and his sister Estella, both vocals. Also with Joseito Nuñez (‘Canta montero’). Cuba’s most famous tres player is back at the GG, his album ‘Primitivo’ is still on number two of most downloaded lp.

5. From this is a classic album on Sacodis. Lassissi presents Monguito el Unico and his All Star Band. Monguito has a unique voice indeed, I even like his version of ‘Mi guajira’, a song recorded way too often. Dec 26,  · Some of the salsa Africana albums on Sacodis also have tunes that are clearly more African and less Latino, like “Leyi” on the album “Monguito El Unico and Laba Sosseh In U.S.A.” The song treats us to an unprecedentedly unique hybrid of Afro-Cuban and straight African elements, finding Monguito dueting with the charismatic Sosseh.
