Dec 07,  · Honestly the style they have would work for Doom II, this doom wasnt about realism but about the gameplay of classic doom/quake. and the style of environment could be translated from doom 2. they even had dead simple homaged in The Necropolis. the corridors and rooms serve a unknown purpose in universe as they are just over the top combat arenas built for enjoyment and fast movement.

Doom 2 more enemies bigger levels to dodge in. Nightmare i find far harder on DOOM 1 seeing as how theres more shotgun guys and smaller levels to get caught in.
